🌟Helping beautiful souls accept & express themselves through photographs I am a photographer in the Minot, ND area.

I have been asked what is my favorite genre to photograph, I used to say I specialize in women's portraiture and glamor with a passion for helping women accept and love themselves as they are, now I tell them I love telling women's stories. whether it is renewing the love they have for themselves after a life of caring for those closest to them or showing the strength, Love and confidence that comes from becoming a mom for the first time, the second time or fifth time telling her story back to her to show her what those who love her see. I have been photographing women in the most intimate ways for over 5 years now. Intimate (boudoir) portraiture is not so much about taking your cloths so much as it is about photographing a side of them they may not always share in their public lives, their intimate side. I am a member of Association of International Boudoir Photographers, I am constantly attending workshops and other educational venues to improve my photography and business. I have a private womens only group where i share more of my work, private discussions as well as offering Lingerie and Clothing that tips towards the sexy side for purchase. please feel free to ask to join if you are female and over 18. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1656069837965579/

If you caught the reel, you know the short version — colorado, a storm, dropping my kid off at college, and a jesse welles show that hits different live !!!

What i didn't get into: the bald eagle we almost had a very bad moment with on the way out, and his dad hold our spot in line, and a drive home so chaotic i somehow ended up on gravel roads in the middle of nowhere

New post is up and honestly? This one felt good to write.

There's this pressure to document everything live — to prove you were somewhere by sharing it in real time. I've been thinking about that a lot lately, especially with a trip coming up.

Beau and I are headed to the east coast to see family, and I'm going to try something a little radical: actually being there.

The Vikings weren't just warriors. They were travelers. The journey wasn't content — it was the point.

Come read. Link in the first comment. 🖤

okay so. flashback Friday is happening. 👀

I blogged about this a couple weeks ago — digging through old files and finding photos from 2011. fifteen years ago. FIFTEEN.

One of my favorite things about this era was getting to collab with other photographers and artists. there was something so good about creating with people who just got it.

I said I might play around with editing them. I have not done that. 😂 but honestly? straight out of camera felt right. there's something kind of perfect about them as-is.

Hope you love them as much as i do.

I came across a quote recently — "Love yourself enough not to be threatened by other people's joy" — and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.

This week on the blog I'm talking about Pride Month, where I come from spiritually, and why silence started to feel like a choice I didn't want to make. To my LGBTQ+ friends and family: you have always had a seat at this table.

New post is up at susanlundmark.com — I'd love for you to read it. 🏳️‍🌈

This week's tarot card was the Four of Wands.

As someone who is always thinking about what's next, this card feels like a gentle reminder to pause and look around.

The Four of Wands is about celebration, community, and recognizing the things we've already built. It's about gathering around the table before rushing off to build a bigger one.

This week, I'm focusing on appreciating what's already here: the friendships, the lessons, the creativity, the healing, and the small moments that make up a life.

I'm challenging myself to celebrate progress instead of waiting for perfection.

What is one thing you've built in your life that deserves a little recognition this week? 🌿✨

Going through old images this week and found a whole set from 2011 I thought I'd thinned out.

Turns out I hadn't. And honestly? I'm glad.

Walking through these reminded me of so much — using a light colored blanket as a reflector, how simply moving yourself or your subject can completely transform an image, and oh... gold reflectors. Chef's kiss.

New blog post is up today and it's a personal one. A little throwback, a little behind the lens, and a reminder that sometimes the spark you've been looking for has been sitting in an old hard drive the whole time.

Pride isn't a month. It's a reminder that some people still have to fight to exist. I'm here for my LGBTQ+ people every single month. Every single day. No exceptions.

Be you. Fully. Always.

Can we talk about what's happening right now?

Skeleton thin is back. And this time it has a drug behind it.

The "Ozempic body" is all over red carpets and your For You page — hollowed faces, jutting collarbones, a return to the kind of thinness we fought hard to push back on. Less than 1% of runway models last season were plus size. That's not a trend. That's a regression.

Here's what I need you to understand: beauty standards have always cycled — 90s he**in chic, early 2010s thinspo, and now this. They are not facts about your body. They are fashion. They expire.

I take Ozempic. For my actual type 2 diabetes. So I'm not speaking from the outside here — I'm living inside the complexity of it. And I'm still telling you this aesthetic is harmful.

I'm also never perfect with my diet or my movement. Depression is real. Time is not something most of us have in abundance. My body reflects a real life — not a failure to try hard enough.

And yes, I took about 47 selfies and didn't love a single one. So here's just one anyway. Showing up imperfect is kind of the whole point.

I spent years behind a camera watching women apologize for their bodies before I'd even said hello. I'm not staying quiet about this anymore.

Your body is not a trend. It doesn't have to keep up.

Build your table. Decide who gets a seat. Don't let an algorithm tell you whether you deserve one.

💚 Save this if you needed to hear it. Share it if someone else does.

From the slightly cluttered desk this morning — new blog post is up.
My dad used to compare my house to someone who "had a place for everything." Every time he said it, something in me would shrink a little.
He wasn't wrong. But he also wasn't seeing the whole picture.
Today I'm talking about clutter, multi-passionate living, and why I'm not giving up joy to fit someone else's idea of a tidy life.

I am a quiet person who is not practiced in bullsh*tting.

That's the thing that kept stopping me from showing up online. New post today is about that — and why I'm finally starting anyway.
