Yesterday was the perfect summer day spent with the best people! 🥰

One of my favorite things about coming up here for weddings is getting to see all of my favorite families. Yesterday was extra special because I had 4 of my past wedding couples + their families there, plus several other families I’ve photographed over the years. 🥹

It’s pretty crazy (and SO cool) to see how many people I’ve gotten to photograph through the years and different seasons of life.

Andrea + Kody, your day was beautiful and filled with the best moments. I’m so glad I got to be there to capture it! 🤍

Sunflower photos on the Johnson Family’s fields. 🌻🤍

They’ve been wanting pictures in their sunflowers for YEARS, and this year we finally made it happen!

Everything was going perfectly… until a bee literally tried to take me OUT mid-photo. 🐝 It stung me right below my eye and then proceeded to SWARM MY HEAD like it wasn’t done with me yet.
Shoutout to Josh for jumping into action and killing the bee. 😂👏🏼

Honestly, I’m putting this in the caption so it lives here forever and ever and pops up in my memories years from now. 😂

Grandma + Grandpa Eggert were gifted family photos from their children for Christmas, and I don’t think they could’ve picked a better day to get all of their kids + grandkids together in Minot! 🥹

The weather was perfect; we had SO much fun, and we captured so many moments that I know they’ll cherish for years to come.

The sweetest summer day up in Saint John, getting married on Shelby’s childhood home. 🥹 The weather was perfect, the breeze was just right, and they were surrounded by the people who love and support them most.

Shelby, a Type A girlie like me 😂, even got to relax and enjoy every second, while Alecia went with the flow. They truly are the perfect match.

One of their bridesmaids had followed me on social media for some time, had never met me, but knew my work well enough to recommend me to them. 🥹 How do you even thank someone like that? That is the biggest compliment ever. 💕

I’m so glad she sent them my way because I couldn’t have been happier to capture this day. Congratulations, Shelby + Alecia! 🤍
