Celebration of Life reminder:

The celebration of life for Amy Siggelkow Duffing will be held this Saturday October 1st at 1pm in the auditorium of the Hopkins High School 2400 Lindbergh Drive Minnetonka, MN 55305 ( Note Lindbergh Drive has recently been renamed to Royals Drive, even the school is struggling to get their mail, because everything still says Lindbergh (Google, gps haven’t updated. NICE!))

Donations in Amy’s name can be made to Second Hand Hounds, a group that Amy was passionate about volunteering for over the years.

Everyone. It is with great regret that I have to share the news that Amy Duffing, the owner of 3 Peas Photography, passed away on July 18th after a 29 month battle with ovarian cancer.

Please bear with me as I try to figure things out. I am monitoring her business e-mails. If you have needs please send something to me at [email protected] and I will do my best to help you. I am not a photographer.

I finally used my new camera today!
Meet Franny. ❤️
Franny is an OEBulldog with spina bifida. She came into Secondhand Hounds as part of their neonatal program. Thanks to the loving care of her fosters and SHH vets, she’s now 12 weeks old and thriving! Franny will soon be adoptable!

PS: When I get a new camera, I have always named it after the first kid to be photographed by it. So hence forth my new r6 shall be known as Franny 😉

Happy Back to School!

Today the 4th Pea started 5th grade! He’s so ready to get back and see his friends.
The 3 Peas started freshman year of college yesterday for the boys and two weeks ago for the girl.
I made them send me first day of school selfies and they begrudgingly obliged 😊

End of an era…. After almost ten years in my beloved studio, my landlord has sold the building and I am out at the end of the month.
I am heartbroken to leave, as it’s been such an amazing space. I have loved it so so much. If you’ve been there, you know why. The light was amazing. Sigh.
But alas we move forward! For now I’ll be returning to my roots of working on location only and doing in person ordering at client homes. Hopefully by winter I’ll have a new studio location, but until then I’ve sold off lots of props/decor/furniture and the rest is going into storage. (Aka my garage 😉) It’s so hard to say goodbye but I have a decade worth of client photos to remember it by.

Can’t believe I haven’t shared these before now! A peek at her fun session last fall. She always makes me laugh with her dry sense of humor, and smart wit. I’m so glad she and my daughter are friends as I love having her in our lives!
