We’re celebrating a pretty incredible milestone at TKP Studio:
Kate’s 20-year work anniversary!
Much has changed since Kate joined Tony Kubat Photography in 2006. To put it in perspective, 20 years ago, TKP was in its 16th year, and in the final stages transitioning from film to digital. Online video was emerging—and social media was just beginning with the launch of Twitter.
20 years. Countless shoots. Immeasurable hard work and dedication.
Over those years, Kate has grown from assistant to studio manager to producer/ operations manager. Nine years into her service, Kate became a partner in the business—reflecting her leadership, contributions, and the trust she has earned. Today she is the glue that holds our little work family together, our chaos coordinator, and orchestrator of all details big and small.
So many great memories.
From long days on set to problem-solving, managing big productions to the little details that make a shoot successful, Kate has been an integral part of the TKP team - and we are incredibly grateful to call her our partner and leader. Some of our favorite memories over the years include studio yoga, bring your dog to work (Winston the bread bandit!), boat days, happy hours, and so many more.
We’re lucky to have spent the last 20 years creating alongside Kate, and we’re even more excited about what’s still ahead.
