I have been busy and am not so great about posting anything related to what I do. Here are a few out of the norm photos I did for a client showcasing the neighborhood around a home she has up for sale. Fun day and I was introduced to a new place to grab a bite while in South Minneapolis!

For the last six years, Milwaukee Avenue has been an oasis in the middle of the city for Garrett Peterson and his family, but in a couple of weeks, they will be putting their home in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis up for sale to move closer to their jobs.

Today I got to thank someone who deserved much more. Heidi Haaland is the reason I get to do what I love for a living. I was taking pictures of homes for real estate agents for fun and just to be nice. She is the person who told me I could charge for my work. I now make a good living documenting homes. Thank you so much Heidi for helping me get into real estate and for helping me find my passion!

About the photo, I drive past this sign everyday and always thought about documenting it. One day in passing Heidi mentioned her parents spent their wedding night at the Starlight Motel. I spent three nights trying to get the right shot for her. I hope it was worth the wait.

On Friday, I photographed two homes for a new client. I was able to turn them around same day so they woould have photos to advertise their open houses. Today is Sunday and I was just informed the client has multiple offers on both homes. I love hearing good news from my clients!
