There is a lot that goes into supporting your kiddo in an activity or sport. I don't have to tell you what you already know about the practices, the driving, the rehearsals, the equipment, the money, the *time*. What I can tell you is that documenting moments like these- where you can tell they came alive, you see their pure joy, you know they will remember what it felt like- it's so worth it to know you'll always remember what it looked like.

I loved seeing all the mites skate their hearts out at the Bloomington Mite Jamboree, and I'd love even more to help you document any of life's wild rides.

A little sneak from yesterday’s newborn session with baby C and her fam. Just the sweetest, most alert bright eyed lil babe. Despite our best efforts she was not about to close her eyes and miss out on any of the fun, and I’m not mad about it. Swipe till you get to the sweetest snuggle, pinky swear it will be worth it. 🤍.

Just when you think you’ve seen the cutest squishy sleepy baby, this little lady comes along. Photographing this family for all 3 of their newborns is not a privilege that is lost on me, and I’d be jump for joy giddy if you want to hop on the photo train with me. A fun thing I learned during mini sessions this year is that the piggy back ride is not as universal a skill as one would think!?!?! So many interesting techniques observed- like stepping a foot on their shoulder or climbing with your knees on their back 🫣🫠. The good news is I got great shots while everyone tried to figure it out 💫
