One of my main tips for anyone looking for a photographer — Find someone you truly trust and jive with.
Trust — Trust their expertise, vision and creativity. Sometimes I tell clients to go pose next to something that outwardly might feel like it won’t look good, but when I show them the final image of what my brain was envisioning, they love it!
Jive — Whether it’s your wedding, maternity, family, senior session, lifestyle, etc. They’re there to celebrate with you and how they make you feel changes everrrrrything. If you love someone’s editing but you don’t feel comfortable around them 😳 Don’t hire them. Straight up. Being comfortable with someone brings your most authentic self out and is reflected in the photos.
