Heidi Haines Photography Newborn, Family, and Wedding Photographer Photography is my favorite form of art and people are my favorite subject.

When I got my first camera for Christmas I was 12 years old, and I opened the gift and thought, "What am I going to do with this?" It only took a couple of years before I had to upgrade and realized that a camera was the medium that I had been missing. I love taking photographs of people because pictures are a beautiful gift to life and memory. I love how a photograph can bring me a memory with su

ch clarity. Capturing beautiful images of people, whatever the occasion may be, is priceless. I have two daughters and a son who mean the world to me. They are a regular inspiration for me to bring out my camera, I have so many pictures of them! I am also happily married to Steve, the love of my life. Every time I see a beautiful sunset I feel nostalgic, and evening lighting is my favorite for photo shoots. I love color, and I am obsessed with the colors teal and turquoise right now. I love the beach, the first snowfall, and everything about Christmas. Wine, dark chocolate, cheese, berries, ice cream, and chocolate chip cookies are the only real food groups. I adore Europe and travel is therapeutic for me. I write a lot, it's one of those things that I have to do. When I stop taking pictures I don't feel like myself anymore...so I hope you enjoy them!

I got really lost with social media posting several months ago. We went from posting some favorite photos to having to have a whole cute layout with pictures that fit into the template, a song, some witty words, AND go ahead a make a video too while you’re at it. And then the template didn’t transfer well to other social media and I was having to do the whole thing twice. OMG. Obviously, not ideal for a generally indecisive and really busy person. Too much.
So, here is my page. It’s not going to be super high tech, except when my kids are helping me. But, it is going to have pretty photos. If you like that, follow me! That’s all I’ve got. 😁
