When you have 5 minutes in a cozy spot, I'd LOVE if you would view this little film with the sound on — A MUST in order to hear this mama's love letter to her sweet Gus. "You feel all the things, and you feel them big." My personal favorite part begins a little before the 3-minute mark.

A scrub-a-dub-dub Saturday morning 🛁 This mama's sister gifted her a newborn session with me three years ago, and I've been so lucky to document this growing family in this cozy home ever since. This time, we created a little film of some ordinary moments — the most memorable kind.

P.S. My boys alwaysss have to check for a "secret part" after the movie credits. Are your kids obsessed with this too? Is it just a ploy to delay bedtime?

Random fun fact: My husband Matt and I didn't have a formal first dance. We had a small outdoor garden wedding, dinner accompanied by a jazz trio, and then headed to Gluek's in downtown Minneapolis along with the general public. My friend requested Ring of Fire from the DJ because Matt loved Johnny Cash. It has the lyrics, "The taste of love is sweet when hearts like ours meet." But also, "I fell into a burning ring of fire. I went down, down, down and the flames went higher." Is this a good or bad thing?
