Online Public Premiere: HUGO (2020, 5 min)

In March of 2020, just as we were settling into lockdown, adjusting to a new normal, the universe dealt us a most devastating hand. Pets aren't just pets, they're family.

Thank you for the most wonderful twelve years, Hugo.

The LLS Man & Woman of the Year competition takes place each spring in communities across the U.S. For 10 weeks, candidates and their teams raise funds for blood cancer research and patient aid, while competing for the title of Man or Woman of the Year. They do this in honor two local cancer survivors, the Boy & Girl of the Year. Meet Jack and Cecilia, our 2021 Boy & Girl of the Year, survivors of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

We are delighted and honored that "Hugo" has been selected to screen in this year's Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival, now in its 40th year. Over the last year, our dearly departed good dude has traveled around the world, yet there's nothing quite like participating in a hometown fest such as this one.

"Hugo" runs online May 14 thru 23 in the 'Family Dynamics Shorts' program. Tickets now available → https://bit.ly/33CqM8Z

Just as we were settling into lockdown, adjusting to a new normal, the universe dealt us a most devastating hand. Five months ago today we said goodbye.

We're honored and delighted that "Hugo" has been selected to screen at the upcoming Hudson Valley Film Fest in Warwick, New York.

Two years ago today we plowed our way through a massive blizzard to attend the world premiere of our short documentary “Grandpa Ben” at the Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival. And we didn’t even slip around or crash once along the way! Major success all around.

The journey began three years ago today. In many ways, there’s much more to discover. If given the opportunity to spend more time up north than ever before, we very well could finish shooting this year. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
