of a video storytelling team! ✈️ Jeff, Scott, and Guy are on the road this week, destination: Indiana. 💼🎥

When global software brands want consistent, authentic video storytelling, they call us. We go directly to the source - capturing insights from real clients in manufacturing, distribution, and retail.

No scripts. No teleprompters. Just real clients talking in their own words (guided by expert interviewer) about how software actually changed their business operations.

This is what we do for the corporate side of our biz: interview-driven customer success stories, brand videos, and founder’s stories that build trust and close enterprise deals.

If your sales team is lacking this kind of social proof, let’s talk video.📞

Today our team at Storyboard Films officially hit a perfect 5.0 average on Google Reviews ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

The amount of repeat business and heartfelt feedback we receive is a true testament to our creative crew!

Our most recent 5⭐ review came from Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin, so we shout out a massage thank you to the entire team for taking the time to share your experience publicly. 🫶 We were incredibly honored to help you "Frame the Future" with an emotional centerpiece video and capture the generational mentorship impact for your recent gala.

Have you heard of a surrogate parent?

The Storyboard Films crew truly enjoyed capturing this story for PACER Center's spring gala. For nearly 50 years, this organization has been the "guide" helping families find a path forward.

This glimpse into one of the ways their incredible mission helps children with disabilities is a must watch. 👀

🚀 "We raised $1,550,000 and counting!"

A number every nonprofit dreams of seeing on the big screen at the end of the night.

At Storyboard Films, we believe your gala video can be part of your fundraising engine. Our goal is always to craft a narrative that moves the room from passive observation to active generosity.

Your video is more than a story, it's an investment in your mission.

We capture the sensitive stories your donors need to see to increase Gala giving.

This year, we collaborated with Alzheimer's Association Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter to tie the on-screen story to a live violinist performing in the room.

Congratulations to our incredible partners on a magical evening this week. We are honored to tell your story.

The art of the conversation.

Our creative director and founder Jeff Brandt has truly mastered this and it might just be the heart of our work that connects us all to your story.

Here’s a scene from filming this week. It’s been a whirlwind month wrapping up post-production on several projects from nonprofits to software companies to healthcare clinics.

We love insights from people speaking in their own words. What story does your organization need to tell and share visually through video?

We are booking into July, so let’s talk.

Who sticks in your memory from school?

For most of us, it wasn’t just a name on a classroom door. It was the teacher who saw potential we didn't, the coach who stayed late, or the staff member who made us feel like we belonged.

Today is National Teacher Appreciation Day, and we’re proud to highlight our recent collaboration with Mounds View Public Schools for Staff Appreciation Week.

Instead of a standard "thank you," we worked with their team to capture the genuine, unscripted voices of their community.

At Storyboard Films, we believe video is an opportunity to create a feeling and build rapport. Seeing the real-world impact these staff members have on a daily basis is exactly why we focus on documentary-style storytelling.

Mounds View is even making it easy for their community to send digital notes of thanks. It’s a beautiful example of using authentic content to drive real connection.

Is your company trying to convey why the "Back of the Herd" is a Dangerous Place to Be?

In the low-margin world of independent two-step distribution, technology isn’t just a luxury, it’s the great leveler.

Storyboard Films recently captured the story of Manion's Wholesale Building Supplies. Their journey is a classic: starting in 1980 with a single pickup truck and a fifth wheel, loading orders by hand at night.

But you can’t run a multi-state operation on "paper and pencils" forever.

By partnering with their industry association, ABMDA, Inc. and moving to Epicor BisTrack ERP software, Manion’s transformed their "gut feelings" into hard data. The results? (impressive, but you'll have to watch the video to see the stats in this client testimonial partnership😄 )

As the team at ABMDA says, "a distributor's job isn't to spend months investigating software; it’s to make distribution better.
Our association is proud to help tell the stories of the people making that happen."

Can your business relate to some of the technology headaches mentioned in this video?

If you were searching for new software, would this customer success story help you trust your potential new vendor?

If you’re a VP of Marketing in the tech space, you know the struggle. You have a brilliant product and happy customers, but the moment a camera turns on, everyone starts talking like a corporate manual.

The "So What?" factor isn't in the specs; it's in the stories. One of our Minnesota technology clients captured the solution perfectly:

"There's so many aspects to marketing our software company. It's not just awareness, it's really building a brand in the industry and making sure people understand who we are. VIDEO is an important element of getting that message out through the words of our customers... and the INTERVIEWER really matters."

Brenda Long of Avionté Staffing Software

She nailed it. The best testimonial isn't scripted—it’s unearthed.

At Storyboard Films, we don't just show up with 4K cameras and lights. We show up with a "content-first" mindset.

Our founder, Jeff Brandt, uses his background in coaching and litigation consulting to lead unscripted, organic conversations that make people forget the lens is even there.

When the interviewer knows how to listen, the brand finally starts to feel human.

Ready to stop "spouting features" and start building rapport? Let’s chat about your next project.

"I cried, then smiled at the end."

When we hear that from a client during a post-production review, we know we’ve done our job.

Initial thoughts might lean toward sadness, but tears are far more layered than that.

They are a spark of joy, a moment of deep empathy, or a reflection of a memory worth holding onto.

In the world of documentary-style storytelling, they are a sign of a story that actually lands.

At Storyboard Films, our mission isn't necessarily to evoke tears, but to uncover the authentic human voice that builds genuine rapport.

Whether we are partnering with a Twin Cities nonprofit to ignite donations or a corporation looking to showcase their team’s passion, we prioritize the "feeling" over the "features".

Our crew grows with every project because we get a front-row seat to the resilience and heart of organizations right here in Minnesota. We are grateful for these vulnerable moments of collaboration. They are the bridge between a mission and the community ready to support it.

Looking to tell a story that moves people to action? Let's talk about how an interview-centric, documentary approach can help you earn trust and stand out.
