s I can remember, starting with a Kodak Instamatic as a child. My family was too practical to consider photography as a career; the idea of creating photographs for a living never crossed my mind. I graduated from Carleton College in 1998 with a degree in Biology and a concentration in German Language. After a six-month stint as a computer programmer, I turned to photography while I looked for my next opportunity. My work has been featured in Communication Arts and produced
