"I am grateful for the real ones. The ones that can see you when you have lost yourself. When you’re hanging by a thread. The people who remind you that you’ve already won the battle, at least this time you have. Sometimes no matter what they say you have to remind yourself, and believe it. There is a being inside that can destroy and demolish. It is active resistance to overcome it. I choose to be soft. I choose to wake up everyday willing to be vulnerable. From time to time a shadow is cast over my light. I am still here. I choose not to let the hardness take over or the sadness to drown me. I’m the captain of this damn ship. I am the hunter, and the whale."

I worked with Shared Ground Farmers Cooperative this past summer, visiting some of the 7 farmer owners, and creating a library of images for the coop to use.
