these guys walked down the aisle to 'video games' by lana del rey. but one played guitar and the other piano...i don't think there is anything sweeter.

it felt fitting to post these today because I am driving through the black hills on my way out west. this wedding was really special to me because it gave me the excuse to drive across south dakota and reflect on the state where i was born. thank you whitney and jordan, your love is beautiful, inspiring and radiates!

In honor of the Minneapolis themed mini sessions today, I thought I would throw it back to one of my first photo walks here in Minneapolis.

Back when I only knew my sister and maybe two or three other people in this town. I have been reflecting quite a bit on that time period as of late in preparation for this next move. I used to walk to the lake nearly everyday by myself. This was the first time I had ever lived this close to a body of water so every little thing was so beautiful and exciting to me.

I don’t really color grade much like this anymore, but I really like how they turned out in these photos. I feel like it captures the vibrate of how Minneapolis felt for me at the time. The whimsy of a Minneapolis summer

Happy mothers day to my beautiful gorgeous mom who is such an inspiration to me. Thank you for always pushing me to be the best version of myself and to take chances. You are such a strong woman and you also know how to have a good time. I am so grateful to have you in my life! Throwback to a few photos that we took in Italy when we were so sleep deprived!! I remember nearly falling asleep at dinner after these pictures.
