I am truly wishing you the very best Thanksgiving, and I hope it is everything you wished for! Holidays are different for me now, as there are always two missing pieces. The sting has dulled, but their absence is ever present. Hug your little ones a little closer for me today.

Everyone is all excited about the Royal Wedding, and I'm just reminiscing about being in Virginia last week at the AMAZING wedding of Rob & Sophie! The wedding was GORGEOUS, but most importantly...the people were the best part. We felt so welcomed & loved by our couple, and their family & friends.

So, I'm doing my on Saturday, because well....that is just how my week has gone. {Lol.} I've had a camera either in my hands or very close by since the age of 8. But something you may not know about me is that I did not get my degree in photography. I went to University of Montana right out of high school, and actually pursued & graduated with a degree in business administration - my emphasis in marketing & management. I worked in the corporate world for 7 years before realizing that my dream was to be a photographer. {I do have photography education as well...but that is a post for another day!}
In addition to my photography business, I also work part-time for a paper crafting company called Pinkfresh Studio doing their marketing & promotions! This time of year is the busiest for paper crafting companies, as the largest trade show of the year is next weekend in Phoenix called Creativation. So, I had to put my photography business aside this past week to focus on all the things that Pinkfresh needs for the show...including a 35 page catalog that I designed from start to finish, among many other things.
I'm happy to say that it was a busy & productive week...and I got everything done for Pinkfresh that needed to be done & printed. AND...I FINALLY go to finish editing all the best images from this styled shoot today! It has been submitted for possible publication, and tonight I will be uploading all the images to an online gallery so that all the amazing people who collaborated with me will have access to them. I'm thrilled with how this shoot turned out, and will be sharing more in the near future!!
