I’m saddened to hear of the passing of Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin of BLACK MIDI. I had the fortune of covering two shows during the Schlagenheim era of the band, the first time at Village Underground in London opening for Preoccupations, then a few months later on their first US tour when they sold out the 7th Street Entry. Matt’s energy on stage was electric. His passion for performance was evident in every photo I have of him. He will be missed. Much love to his family and friends.
