Hi! Just wanted to pop on with a little hello from the birthday girl! Yep, it's no April Fool's joke..today is my birthday! Hello 37! :) I thought today might be a good moment in time to reintroduce myself. I'm Shanna and I wear outfits with ridiculously giant bows on them :) I've been a photographer for over 10 years and I seriously love it. I believe life is a gift to be cherished so this photo thing is a perfect fit for me! I'll be celebrating my birthday today with my husband, three kids and even a homemade chocolate caramel cheesecake. It just doesn't get any sweeter than that right?? **QUESTION TIME: What is your brutally honest opinion of the giant bow? When I first saw the photo on the website I thought to myself, "Wow that is ridiculous...but..I think I actually kinda sorta love it :D

Little Jonah was SO precious for his one year session last fall! It was especially sweet to see how much he loves his mom, dad, and big brother! They were all taking turns dancing, singing, and being silly behind the camera so that we could catch some of these super cutie smiles!! Thank you Akervik family- you all are just fabulous!!
