Oreo cookies and Kraft Jet-Puffed marshmallows are quintessential American treats and until 1998 were not kosher (the Jewish Dietary Laws). David A. Sherman's photographs, (David Sherman Photography) represents the holiness that Kashrut brings into our daily lives juxtaposed with the challenging ritual for kids who view Hydrox cookies and Kosher marshmallows as substandard replacements for iconic American treats. These photographs are part of the art exhibition at the Sabes Center – 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙅𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝘼𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙨’ 𝙇𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮: 𝘼 𝙍𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚, (now on display) which features the work of more than 40 artists who have studied together and made art with the Minnesota JCC over the past decade. Thank you Target Center for showcasing my work. It's always a fun day at work when I am at Target Center!

This is 30. ✨ For our anniversary this year, we revamped our Skyway display case to highlight the various concert and sports memories from the past 30 years, as well as feature the local artists we've had the privilege of working with over the years.

The background collage wall is made up of custom show posters done by local graphic designer/illustrator Amelia LeBarron. LeBarron has created custom artwork for every event at Target Center since 2005. These posters are gifted to the artist, tour and crew.

David Sherman Photography has been our house photographer for the past 25 years (his first shows here were Jimmy Buffett on September 28, 1995 and Elton John on September 29, 1995). Sherman has also photographed the Minnesota Timberwolves since the 1996-97 season, and the Minnesota Lynx since their inaugural season in 1999. You can view his work on a slideshow in the roadcase in the display - make sure to stop by and watch the next time you're walking by to take a trip down memory lane!

Also featured: a sign post with our cross streets to pay homage to our favorite city, a Prince cloud guitar and a signed Garth Brooks hat from one of his many shows at our venue.
