There's been a lot of chatter in blogs/posts/user groups regarding the new FAA 'rule' requiring registration of drones that kiddies are getting this holiday season.
I completely support this registration.
I support this registration in consideration of:
1. Safety
2. Accountability
3. Responsibility
I believe this process will help inform and educate thousands of young new aviators arriving this season; encouraging them to fly safely, within limits.
Young new aviators and their parents need to understand that every aviator is held accountable by the public to fly safely and responsibly by AMA/FAA Rules/Regs.
Please, Moms and Dads; Don't let your kids fly without registering their new toy and learning some of the important rules and safety guidelines on the FAA website. You can even print/post the Official FAA Certificate of Registration on your mantlepiece for all to see. smile emoticon
