It has been almost two weeks since the murder of George Floyd. We have waited to post a statement on this horrific display of police brutality born of systemic racism because the KeliComm team has been on the streets in person lending our presence and voices to the cause.

We at KeliComm are committed to supporting black communities & communities of color locally and nation wide and these images list just of few of the ways you can do the same. We encourage you to get outside of yourself, get uncomfortable, continue your education.

We've missed your lovely faces and can't wait to see you again. We are so glad to once again be able to help you succeed and take advantage of all your opportunities.

It's really all you can ask for when you didn't know at the time, that it would be your final exchange. I'm here to tell you, you'll never regret such actions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Working from home during this extraordinary time has many challenges. Normal work-day expectations such as uncontested access to your computer, a quiet place to work, and a dedicated 8-hour work day may simply not be workable within your home setting.

LinkedIn From Home Tip: Write a Headline That Rocks!

Your headline doesn’t have to be your job title and company—in fact, especially if you’re looking for jobs, make it look more interesting!
Instead, use that space to showcase your specialty or value proposition. The more specific you can be about what sets you apart from the competition and briefly shows what you have to offer, the better. I’ve seen this done many fun different ways and the more interesting you make it, the more memorable you will be.

LinkedIn From Home Tip: Get a Custom URL

This is an easy step and makes your profile look all that more professional to onlookers. It just takes a few minutes to publicize your profile with a customized URL (ideally linkedin.com/yourname), rather than the clunky combination of numbers that LinkedIn automatically assigns when you sign up.

How to get one? When viewing your profile, to the top right of your screen click on the link “Edit public profile & URL”. On this new screen at the top right there is a section for “Edit your custom URL”. Click on the pencil and specify what you’d like your address to be (I chose my name). When you’re finished, click Save. You are all set!
