Something happened.

I have been fighting an increase in pain the past few months and by God’s Grace I was accepted into Wayside with the Pain Rehab Program.

Friday I was waiting to start intake with my Physical Therapist and I saw it. One of MY photos sitting on the desk. Over a year ago I had contacted the Mayo’s Art department and explained what the PRC meant to me. I talked about the need for more art to escape the hard work that happens there. At that time, I offered them rights to a few of my photos. I never heard back so I had actually forgotten. The therapist took it out of the frame so I could hold it. What a full circle moment as I found photography again after I graduated from the PRC 16 day program.

This photo is on the “Secret” lake where I caught the biggest fish of my life. To be back in a new stage a pain symptoms has left me feeling defeated. Seeing the photo there reminded me of the healing that happened last time. I really needed that. What I have done once I can do again. So I will.

There is no such thing as “physically healed” with chronic, progressive illness. However, there can be healing. There is always space for healing. ❤️

Minneapolis…
A place I call my home. Minneapolis is beautiful in so many ways. If you do not see it use my eyes. My Minneapolis is more than a political statement. I wanted to take a minute to show the little things that make it some kind of wonderful to me.❤️
