Gosh I love setting up detail photos!

I doooo think sometimes detail photos are over-hyped but it's one of the parts of the day that the photographer has complete creative control which is so fun!!

Being creative is what has made most of us photographers fall in love with photography but I think it can get lost along the way into building a business. So enjoy the detail photos. It also intentionally plan in creativity throughout the wedding day too!

I usually plan 1-3 creative ideas I want to try on a wedding day. This makes me even more excited for a wedding day and helps keep the burn out away!

Hi, I'm Katie! 👋✨

I am a photographer committed to giving you a photo experience that adds to your memories instead of taking away from them.

I lean towards a cinematic style photography which helps capture the emotion of the moment I'm photographing.

Some fun facts about me:

🖼️ My happy place is in an art museum. When I'm visiting a city I HAVE to check out their museum. (Someone hire me to photograph in Paris so I can go to the !)

🧔🏻‍♂️🐶 My husband and dog are my world (featured in the last photo) and we frequently visit our families in Mankato and Woodbury. We have two nieces who are our dog Poppy's best friends.

🪴 I have the green thumb gene passed down from both sides of my family and love taking care of all my plants.

I value authenticity in my work. I've been committed to learning and practicing ways to help the people in front of my lens to feel comfortable enough to be their truest selves.
