🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate more than fireworks and flags. We celebrate 250 years of courage, sacrifice, freedom, and the enduring American spirit.

For 250 years, generations have built a legacy worth honoring. They dreamed boldly, worked tirelessly, and fought to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today. As we gather with family and friends, may we pause to remember those who came before us and those who continue to serve our country.

May your Fourth of July be filled with gratitude, laughter, unforgettable memories, andpride in this beautiful nation we call home.

From our family at Melissa Digue Portrait, we wish you a safe, joyful, and blessed Independence Day.

Happy 250th Anniversary, America! ❤️🤍💙

A father’s love is steady, quiet, and strong.

It’s found in the guiding hand, the reassuring hug, the lessons shared, and the countless moments that become treasured memories over time.
Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, and father figures who lead with strength, love, and unwavering support. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the wisdom you share, and the legacy you leave behind.
The moments may seem ordinary today, but one day they will become the photographs your family treasures most.

Happy Father’s Day to all the incredible dads.

With gratitude,

"Wait 'Til We Get Home"

Wildlife photography has always been more than documenting animals for me. It's about capturing the moments that feel surprisingly familiar. The glance of a parent. The curiosity of youth. The silent conversations that happen without words.

When I photographed this mandrill family, I couldn't help but imagine the conversation taking place. The youngster seemed full of questions, while the adult's expression said everything.

Moments like these remind us that family, curiosity, guidance, and connection exist throughout the natural world.

I'm excited to announce that many of my wildlife images are now available as fine art wall pieces for homes, offices, and collectors who appreciate the beauty and wonder of nature.

Bring the wild home and enjoy a story that unfolds every time you look at it.

Interested in wildlife artwork for your space? Send me a message for available sizes and collections.

To the heroes who gave everything for this country… we remember you today with grateful hearts.

Because of your courage, sacrifice, and love for something greater than yourselves, we are able to live freely, love deeply, and chase the dreams placed before us.

Today is more than a holiday.
It is a moment of remembrance.
A moment of honor.
A moment to pause for the brave men and women who never made it home.

To the families who carry their legacy forward, we thank you too. Your strength does not go unseen.

May we never forget the cost of freedom.
Happy Memorial Day from Melissa Digue Portrait. 🇺🇸
