This little sweetie is turning one next week 🤍 She’s such a sweetheart.
We planned her session not knowing what the weather was going to do. If you live in north Louisiana, then you know what I mean. This week has been raining every single day with next week looking the exact same. 🫠 Friday morning the forecast showed sunny at 6. So I decided to start the session at 6. By 3:30 the forecast said raining from 6 on. NOOOO. She we scrambled. We moved the session time up and made it work. Will you believe that it NEVER. RAINED. Seriously??? Thanks weather, thanks.

Snippets from our time in Colorado 🏔️

We explored The Royal Gorge, Manitou Springs, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods, Ute Valley Park, Pike’s Peak, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We’ve had the best time. Today we are just having a chill day while David is in meetings for work (the real reason we are actually here). After all the go, go, go I’m enjoying just doing a little bit of nothing today 😆

Celebrating big things in the city 🏙️

Deborah reached out to me for her graduation photos for her Masters Degree. This isn’t just any degree, because she has many of those, this is her first American degree. This is such a huge milestone for her!

I knew downtown Shreveport would make such a pretty backdrop for this session and I have to say I was right 😉

When I got to the park for this session I realized we only had one hour until the park closed. Ahh! Now, I know I can get everything done in an hour, and that’s usually the length of the session. But I felt like we didn’t have as much flexibility as I like. Anyways, we made do and ended the session with 3 minutes to spare. Ha!! I couldn’t have asked for a better evening with the Davis family. They were so sweet and oh my goodness these girls just made my day with their adorable personalities. I loved every single second of playing, chatting, and spending my evening with these beautiful people 🤍

I’ve been quiet over here lately because I’ve been catching my breath after a wild first part of the year. But I’ve been eyeing these flowers in our field for a few weeks now and finally decided I needed to get pictures in it. Eleanor loved playing with the flowers!
