In a summer that has been non stop, my galz and I carved out some low key time to gather and work on something new to us - junk journals. We all customized ours with Artifact Uprising online ordering. From cover color, to printing photos IN the book, text on the spine and front, we all were able to make one unique to us. With a few months to collect items it was so fun to see the treasures everyone brought to include in their junk journals. Some with themes like “camping trips” and others more a collection of special life memories. In the end it gave us a space to gather, connect, and create together in a very busy time.
SUCH a fun project that will be ongoing (for me) as the summer continues - hello summer themed! Can’t wait to add more. You can grab one on Artifact Uprising’s site, with code Matson15 to knock off 15%!

Hayley + Isaac’s summer wedding under the growing strawberry moon 🌕

Tucked snugly into Milwaukee’s downtown they shared their love with an intimate selection of friend and fam. The care the was given to celebrate these two, from the cake made by a guest, to mini works of are at each place setting (also made by a guest), ducks nesting at the ceremony space while the harpist played, and the naked bike ride passing through, it was beautifully unique.

Yes please to birthday beach sessions for littles! What better excuse to frolic with you babies than to celebrate a bday, exploring, dancing, throwing rocks (obvi), and basking in some foggy vibes.

Happiest anniversary to these cutie love buns! From their engagement sessions to intimate little practice “elopement,” and then their wedding 7 years ago (swipe to see!).
