Hey again friends! Just dropping by to let you know that the new AC is installed and blowing cold 🥶
There’s a new remote on the window sill in its usual spot, and I already have the unit set for max chill/fan speed . . . So all you need to do is power it on, and you’re all set! Oh - and please turn it off when you leave. And that’s that.
More studio improvements are coming in the next few weeks! Stay tuned for updates. 🙏🏻

Hey everyone! 🙋🏻‍♂️

This is Matthew, the new manager of the Studio Share! For those of you I haven’t met yet, it’s nice to virtually meet you. 😁

Short of a formal introduction, I wanted to jump on here quick to let you know about the studio’s air conditioning. . .

A few of you have messaged me about it not working properly this week, and I tested it and cleaned the filter and reset it yesterday - only to find today that it’s still not working.

I did order a new unit, and scheduled the replacement with the building maintenance crew. It takes them roughly 5-7 days to fulfill a work order, so we should have a nicely cooled unit by this time next week! 🤞🏻

In the meantime, I’m really sorry for any inconvenience this has presented any of you.

There are 2 oscillating fans in the space right now, which do help quite a lot, just in case.

In other news, I will also be making updates to the studio very shortly, including new furniture, a fresh coat of paint, new equipment, and lots of other stuff — I have a long list! — all of which I will keep you all up-to-date on as things are completed.

Lastly, I’ll also be personally reaching out to each member individually for a phone chat - so I can get to know you, learn everyone’s individual needs, get some feedback on some new and exciting plans I have for the space and for the members. . . all to try and make this an even better studio experience for you, and a more functional space to create awesome work!

STUDIO TOURS

MKE Studio Share, 2018 S 1st St, Suite 422, in Milwaukee.

MKE Studio Share is a shared photography studio filled with beautiful natural light located in the Lincoln Warehouse in Milwaukee. New member photographers who sign up in July can take 50% off the membership deposit ($200 value). The studio can be rented for 3 hour time slots and memberships start at $110 per month.

MKE Studio Share is great for newborn, child, family, business/headshot, portraits and product photography. The backdrops on the wall mounted system can be switched from white to gray or black. There are additional paper backdrop colors along with a variety of furniture and props available for members to use. We provide studio lighting with different modifiers as well.

New to the studio is our queen bed on wheels that can be moved around for different looks. Use the white wall or push it up against the white block wall with warehouse windows above.
