Fjord, the Rhodesian ridgeback, proudly showed off his new baby brother during our session. Rhodies always manage to find the spotlight, BIG dogs with BIG personalities. We met and her husband Mike during a ridgeback meetup 3 years ago and it has been so sweet to see how their family has grown and evolved over the years.

If you’re wondering, yes, most Rhodesian ridgebacks make AMAZING family dogs. They’re aloof with most but so very loyal to their pack.

One of my favorite quotes when I was single and dating “the more men I meet, the more I love my dog.” 😂 Very happy to report I finally found the love of my life, but MAN dating was exhausting and it was always so good to come back after a bad date and surmise with my puppies. All that to say: I love when I get to take photos of a girl and her dog because really, what can’t a woman accomplish when she has her furry best friend by her side?
