Last week I had the chance to take one of my favorite people, to one of my favorite places,

Fran wasn’t playing and didn’t stop packing kits until the boxes in front of her were empty. 😂🙏🏻❤️ She was a natural.

Diaper need is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep an infant or child clean, dry, and healthy.

💚 Disposable diapers can cost $70 to $80 per month per baby.
💚 No state or federal child safety-net program allocates dollars specifically for the purchase of diapers.
💚 Without transportation, buying diapers at a convenience store rather than a large “big box” store can significantly increase the monthly cost of diapers.
💚 Most childcare centers, even free and subsidized facilities require parents to provide a day’s supply of disposable diapers.

Milwaukee Diaper Mission also has a period program called, Flow Forward. Providing tampons, pads and other period products. 🩸🩸🩸

We all know plenty of people that have a period, but not everyone knows that 1 in 4 people struggle to purchase period supplies due to lack of income. This is called period poverty, and chances are you know someone who has experienced this need – a neighbor, a co-worker, a friend.

Milwaukee Diaper Mission works hard everyday to supply our Milwaukee community with access to diapers, pads and tampons.

Babies deserve clean diapers and people deserve access to sanitary period products.

Milwaukee Pride Parade 2026. The Hotties for Hong showed UP & SHOWED OUT! 🥹🌈👏

I am so incredibly grateful to be supported by so many people who started out as volunteers & now we get the honor to call them friends.

Wisconsin, this is so much more than a campaign. This is a movement. This is the time for the working class to finally win and Francesca Hong is dedicated to making that happen.

I encourage you to learn about the democratic candidates running for governor or WI. Go to their events, tell them your stories, ask them questions and don’t be afraid to ask follow up questions. We deserve politicians who will be open and honest with us.

Lastly, make a plan to go vote on August 11th. Seriously. Start by finding out if you’re registered to vote. If not, there are resources in my bio. There are amazing people dedicated to making voting as accessible as possible- name dropping (great meeting some of you last week!).

Politics can feel intimidating sometimes, especially if you care deeply but aren’t exactly sure where you fit in.

That’s why we’re hosting a Milwaukee Community Engagement Night tomorrow (5/19) at .mke from 6-8 pm (& again on Tuesday, 6/2 from 6-8 pm).

Come meet good people, ask questions, learn more about Fran’s campaign, and explore ways to get involved that actually feel realistic for you. Whether that’s helping at events, community outreach, fundraising, or simply showing up and connecting with others about Fran.

No experience needed. No pressure. Just community.

Bring friends, coworkers, neighbors and partners. There’s space for everyone in this movement. 🙏🏻
