The most special day celebrating Brooke & Vaughn ❤️

These two planned the most elaborate surprise I’ve seen yet… Engagement Party turned Wedding Day!!! After mixing and mingling with their friends and family for the first hour it was time for a toast. All their favorite people gathered around and that’s when they announced they’re actually getting married right now!!

A quick ceremony, first dance and right into their cake cutting! The celebration continued at 5Bar with a surprise performance by one of Vaughn’s friends Emo Cover Bands!! Could not have asked for a more perfect day 🙌🏻

And Fay says everyone should get married!!!! 10/10!!

I had the greatest honor of capturing Fay & David’s beautiful lakeside wedding day at The Commodore! These two actually spent their first summer in love on this lake 🥹❤️ They read their private vows on their pontoon boat, their pup walked down the aisle, and her brother surprised them with their very own honeycomb because…love is sweet!

WOW! What a beautiful night transported to the speakeasy of our dreams!

There’s something pretty special about this industry and it’s always so nice to all be in one room and celebrate each other’s accomplishments! Congrats to all of this years winners and I look forward to another amazing wedding season 💗

Speaking of accomplishments, I reflected on all the amazing things that happened this past year. I’ve been so lucky to connect with some pretty special people recently.

Friday May 8th, 2026 | Miguel & Dani

A few months back Miguel reached out looking for a photographer to capture his proposal to Dani. I knew from the moment we hopped on a Discovery Call that there was going to be so much thought and intention put into this proposal! Fast forward to last Friday andddd the plan was executed perfectly 🤍

Miguel, knowing how special the Milwaukee Art Museum is to Dani, rented out the entire space for themselves. The plan was to walk from their apartment under the impression that there was a special event happening that night. But when Dani walked through the door she was a bit confused as to why the place was empty and there was just a photographer waiting at the center of Windhover Hall. Miguel led her towards the lake and got down on one knee. Dani said YES, obviously! And then for one whole hour we (and the amazing security guard!) we had the place to ourselves. Letting Dani guide us to all her favorite pieces, we’d stop and take pictures along the way.

What Dani didn’t know… was that there was another surprise. We said our goodbyes and parted ways. As Dani walked towards her parent’s place for what she thought would be a quick visit to share the news before heading off to dinner. While I was getting picked up my one of her dear friends to beat the couple to her parent’s. Miguel organized a beautiful surprise dinner with their closest friends and family (many flew in to be there!).

Double the surprises 🤍 could not be more grateful for stories like this one. So much love and intention, my heart could burst!!
