Andy Holman and I share a love of birds. If there is any chance that I can ask him for a specific shot of a Sand Hill Crane landing into a marsh or a Great Blue Heron showing courting behavior in Florida Rookery, I do it. I am lucky for the works that I will paint from them!
Andy is currently in Nebraska for a board meeting. My Mother in law sent me a photo of Andy from their trip, which I painted. I also included Red Sandhill crane and great Blue Heron paintings that I painted from his photos.

🌸I taught an Art lesson on Cherry Blossoms to a 1st to 3rd grade MPS Montessori class. We talked about the Cherry Blossom trees gifted to Washington DC from Japan and painted cherry blossoms onto canvases. Thank you especially to my 9 year old, Judah, for his assistance.
