All I can say is, you’re gonna be seeing a whooole lot of these!!!! A rainy day with a few bumps in the road couldn’t dampen the joy that radiated from O+P.

They began their day with a ceremony at Paine Art Center and Gardens and ended it with a packed dance floor at The Gibson Social Club. Proving that you really can have it all on your wedding day!!! They made wishes with their friends and family, cried happy tears and drank their fair share of cherry bombs. This was my favorite kind of day. 🫶🏼

When your day speaks loudly about who you are, not even rain can ruin it. C+I spent the morning apart and when they finally came together it was magic. When they entered their reception, they were greeted by their guests with with warm, dry arms and loud cheers. And they spent the evening connecting with their people and partying the night away.

I haven’t said hello in a while, so hello! I’ve been focused on my purpose as your photographer for a while. Mind if I get sappy on main?

Observational, present and intentional. These words drive me forward through this season. Every photo I take has a purpose to drive the story of your love forward. Whether that purpose be art, connection, or honesty.

More so, photos are proof that we existed. Proof that we touched people’s lives, that we laughed together, cried together and loved each other.

I’m not out here trying to work my way to sharing models on the cover of vogue - I’d much rather tell real people’s real stories. That is so much cooler to me. Knowing I gave you evidence of a memory that will last for your entire life or the last photo ever taken of your grandparent smiling as you said “I do.” That is what I mean when I say I have reverence for your day.

And yeah we’re gonna make you guys look great, but that’s not the heart of a wedding day and that’s not the heart of my work. The heart is in the little moments.
