Every week I submit my work to my creative coach, ‪‬​ for an honest critique. There's no sugarcoating it. If an image is exceptional, he'll give it the elusive 11 out of 10. If it misses the mark, he'll tell you exactly why.

This week, I entered a portrait in the Light and Shadow category, putting composition, contrast, and storytelling to the test.

Waukesha you have a new mural!

Do yourselves a favor and go see Little Fox the next time you find yourself in downtown Waukesha. From the paws on the ground coming out of the river to the tip of its nose that peeks put from the alley as you walk down main street it's pretty damn adorable!

and her crew painted this over three days!

I do not do well with heights. Not in the least, but I figured why not strap in and go up to get the shot. I think we only went up maybe 10 feet? That was enough for me.
