I've been meaning to update y'all for awhile. I have officially closed my business, Fierce Bo***ir. BUT I could not leave this community I've built and my amazing clients without having a new option. So I spent many months training Shye Spiegler in the ways of Bo***ir and helping her create her own business.

I'm happy to say that she has officially opened her business (Peculiar Pictures Photography) and is taking bookings! She is currently doing bo***ir and portrait photography with the goal of also adding surrealism. (Example of her work posted below.) A quote from her website says "As a fat and q***r person, representation is important to me." Rest assured that she holds many of the same values that you came to love in Fierce Bo***ir.

I will post in the comments her website and IG page. Please follow and share and help her be as successful as y'all made me! I love you all so much and I am so honored to have been a part of your lives. I'm still here, just not taking photos.

Other Photographers: don't work with fat bodies, pose fat bodies in ways that hide belly, assume fat bodies can't do what thin bodies can

Me: "Go scale that rock wall over there..."

😂 But seriously, when a client gets emotional because you are the first person to show them they are sexy, that's really sad! I should not be odd for working with marginalized bodies and making them feel worthy, it should be the norm! Photographers, do better 😒 cause everyone deserves to feel amazing in their body.

(I don't make every client climb a wall 😅 I take ability and injuries into account.)

SEQUIN LUST! Sometimes the Universe gives you weird combos but my clients always end up making it work 🤷‍♀️🤩

This month, the Universe Decide cards (from ) chose 20 min SE at 3:30pm. We found this cool area of twisty trees on the side of the road by Lake Michigan. Those sequins sparkle in the sun like a Twilight vampire!
