Watching families grow is one of my favorite parts of this job 🥹

Ironically, I actually met this sweet family before I was ever officially their photographer — our boys were in toddler tumbling together while mom was pregnant with big brother. Then came his newborn session, milestones with two boys, little sis’ newborn session, and now? She’s officially the star of the show!

Getting a front row seat to these seasons of life is truly such an honor. To all of my families who continue to invite me back year after year, thank you for trusting me with your memories. It means more than you know 🤍

Allow me to reintroduce myself 👋

I’m Hailey! The face behind the camera, the one answering your emails at odd hours, and the one who will absolutely make weird noises to get your kids to look at me during your session.

I’m lucky enough to be married to my best friend. We’ve been together for 15 years, married for almost 9, and somehow built this beautiful little life together that now includes our two kiddos and our pup, Nala.

Photography wasn’t always the plan, but it’s always been something I’ve loved. I was the person making sure photos were taken at family gatherings, and years ago I even documented a friend’s wedding when she didn’t have a photographer. Then four years ago, after having my first baby, I picked up my camera and became obsessed with freezing time. Before long, that passion turned into helping other families preserve their memories too!

When I’m not working, I’m usually hanging out with my kids or reading a romance book … and by reading, I mean staying up way too late because I promised myself “just one more chapter.”

These days, I’m especially aware of how quickly it all goes. That’s what keeps me picking up my camera — for my family and for yours.

Anyway, that’s me. Thanks for being here! 🤍

P.S. 10/10 do not recommend tripod family photos. I took these in April and just finally got around to editing them. Your kids listen to me … Mine see me holding a camera and immediately choose chaos 😅 they’re still adorable though!

Life feels very full lately in the best, most chaotic way — family in town, basement construction, editing spring minis, prepping for summer minis, soaking in my babies (who apparently believe sleep is optional), and all the little in-between moments that make up this season of life.

I had a newborn session this morning, and holding that tiny baby instantly brought me back to those first days with mine. Seven months somehow feels like yesterday and forever all at once. It’s wild how quickly it all goes 🤍

My favorite part of this session? Dad kissed her bump and baby kicked right back — like she already knew her favorite guy was right there. The sweetest little moment you can’t plan. I loved getting to capture this season for these two! I already can’t wait for their newborn session later this month 🤍

I just saw this beautiful family for spring minis last night, and I can’t get over how much has changed since their newborn session for their baby girl… now she’s already 9 months old 🤍 Watching your babies grow with each session is truly one of my favorite parts of what I do.
