MKE Beautiful A unique view of Milwaukee's East Side, Shorewood and Whitefish Bay, as shared by an enthusiastic local artist and amateur photographer. Hello!

A 200 page hard cover book is in the works, stay tuned! My name is Rochelle Weiner Carr - I am a resident of Milwaukee and the photos I've been sharing on this page have all been taken by me, while walking the neighborhoods near my house during pandemic. I shoot the photos with my iPhone and then use photo editing software to enhance the images prior to sharing them online. I have been so engaged

with this project as the months have progressed and I am very excited to share my work with other lovers of Milwaukee - the beautiful city on the lake. ENGAGE: My main goal is to share what I've been doing with my community. In this effort, I encourage you to engage with the photos and if you like what you see, please like, comment, share - whatever suits you. BOOK: I am currently working on self-publishing a book called MKE Beautiful which will be a selection of my favorite photos from this year, along with historical narrative supplied by Bobby Tanzilo, local author, columnist, and senior editor at OnMilwaukee. I am shooting to have the book published by fall of 2022, and preordering available in summer 2022.
