The first photos I'm sharing from Oregon had to be these.

After a day of rain, gray skies, and unpredictable weather, we were gifted a tiny window of sunlight at Pacific Beach... and it felt like magic. ✨️💖

But what I love most about these images isn't the light. It's the reminder they gave me... that I want to tell stories in places that make people feel something. Places that become part of the memory.

Beautiful people. Extraordinary places. A little adventure. 🌊❤️🔥💍

Kate & Anna's Engagement Session — Part I of II 🤍

I first met Kate & Anna at the Big Gay Wedding Expo back in March, and then we crossed paths again at WedMKE a few weeks later. By then, it felt pretty clear our energies were aligned.

For Part I of their engagement session, they brought their vision to life with old-money-inspired vibes, a vintage blue convertible borrowed from one of their best friends, and some incredibly thoughtful styling. From Kate's tailored vest and trousers to Anna's timeless dress and silk scarf, every piece was intentionally chosen—and beautifully thrifted—to create a look that felt elevated, personal, and uniquely them.

This felt like a scene straight out of a movie.

Stay tuned for Part II, where we take things inside the Milwaukee Public Library. ✨

Cultural Legacy — Part I: Terracotta Love 🤎

When I dreamed up this editorial, I kept coming back to one thought: the most unforgettable weddings are the ones that tell a story.

As someone who grew up in Brazil, I've always been drawn to the way culture is woven into celebrations—through color, craftsmanship, family traditions, and the little details that carry generations of meaning. That perspective inspired Cultural Legacy.

This terracotta chapter is a celebration of warmth, intentional design, and the beauty of honoring where we come from while creating something uniquely our own.

As a photographer, these are the stories I love capturing most: images that don't just preserve how a wedding looked, but the history, identity, and emotion behind it.

Because the most meaningful details are often the ones that become someone's legacy. 🤍

As a Brazilian who moved to the U.S. and built a life here, watching another Brazilian marry the love of her life in America hit close to home.

Emanuelle and Lucas chose an intimate elopement at the Wisconsin Capitol, with Lucas immediate family to witness the two of them sharing vows and the beginning of forever.

And the best part? This is only chapter one, because they'll celebrate all over again with a beautiful wedding surrounded by family and friends back in Brazil. 🇧🇷✨

I’m so grateful I got to witness this piece of their journey and capture the start of a love story that spans continents.

Parabéns, Emanuelle & Lucas. What an honor.
💚💛🤍💙❤️

I've been missing being in front of the camera lately.

Not because I need more photos of myself, but because looking through old images has reminded me of something I didn't realize I'd been searching for.

In my twenties, I didn't have many answers.

I didn't know exactly where life was taking me.
I didn't know how things would work out.
I didn't know who I would become.

But somehow, I trusted the unknown.

I trusted myself.

I chased adventures.
I followed curiosity.
I said yes to things that scared me.
I created stories worth remembering.

Looking at these photos, I don't just see younger versions of me.

I see courage.
I see confidence.
I see authenticity.
I see a woman who wasn't waiting to have everything figured out before she started living.

My thirties have been beautiful in different ways.

They've been about building.
Creating roots.
Establishing myself.
Turning dreams into reality.

But lately, I've felt called to reconnect with the parts of me that were never afraid to wander.

The parts that trusted life more than they trusted certainty.

Maybe this season isn't about finding myself.

Maybe it's about remembering myself.

And bringing all those versions of me along for what's next. 🤍

POV: the Brazilian girl who moved to the U.S. with a suitcase, questionable English, and a lot of blind faith is now photographing weddings across the country. ✈️🤍

Colorado, you were a dream.

My first destination wedding reminded me why I love this job so much. New places. New people. New stories. And somehow, every time I travel, I come back home a little more inspired than before.

A few years ago, I was borrowing a camera and hoping someone would trust me enough to hire me.

Now I'm boarding planes with camera bags full of gear, chasing love stories in places I once only saw on postcards.

More plane tickets.
More stories to tell.
More reasons to believe that crazy dreams are worth following.

So... where are we going next? 🌎✨

Back in March, these two were counting down the days until they could finally meet the little boy who had already stolen their hearts.

Yesterday, Baby Miller made his grand entrance into the world. 💙

Looking back at these photos now feels even more meaningful. The quiet moments, the excitement, the nursery waiting for him, and the love that was already overflowing long before he arrived.

Welcome to the world, baby Miller. You are so deeply loved already! ❤️📸
