Jane & Devin’s June wedding was one of my favorites to photograph this season. Getting ready at The Trade Hotel and celebrating at Gather at Deer District? Truly a perfect match. And beyond the beautiful spaces, you could feel how excited their family and friends were to celebrate these two. 🤍

Their vows, the ring being passed around for everyone to share their love and good energy, the speeches… so many moments that made this day feel deeply personal. But Jane choosing her grandma as her maid of honor was definitely a highlight for me.

I remember wanting to bottle it all up and take it home with me. Thankfully, photography gives us a way to do just that. Looking back through these photos brings those feelings right back and reminds me how special it was to be there capturing it all. ✨

What if your dream destination wedding was right here in Milwaukee? ⛵️✨

Lake Michigan stretching toward the horizon, sails catching the breeze, and the city skyline behind you. A wedding inspired by the water, with a whole Milwaukee weekend for your favorite people to fall in love with.

That’s the possibility we explored with High Tide, a styled shoot this past May at the Milwaukee Community Sailing Center. An amazing team of vendors brought their creativity together to imagine a celebration where the lake was part of the experience—from the flowers and thoughtful details to these romantic moments aboard a sailboat.

As a photographer, collaborations like this give me space to play, follow an unexpected idea, and see familiar places with fresh eyes. There’s something so exciting about creating together and imagining what’s possible for couples who want to do things their own way.

Consider this a little invitation to dream bigger and let your adventurous side help with the wedding planning. 💙

A waterfront celebration. Sailboat portraits. A weekend exploring the city together. Milwaukee deserves a place on your destination wedding list, and Lake Michigan makes a pretty convincing case.

Newborn session for Lucy Noelle ✨️

Sara and Marcus welcomed their second child this past summer, and I wasn’t ready for how adorable Elsie would be as a big sister! 😍

A little peek into Marta’s creative world. 🎨🤍

Back in June, Marta welcomed me into her cozy home studio for a branding session surrounded by her artwork. Originally from Poland and now based in Wisconsin, she specializes in mixed media, combining acrylic painting, dimensional textures, and epoxy resin to create art that comes to life beyond the canvas.

And she had the cutest little helper! 🐈 Her kitty joined us for the session, adding even more personality to a session that already felt so wonderfully her.

That’s what I love about photographing artists: capturing the person, the space, and the little details behind their work. Her paintings, her studio, her furry companion... all pieces of Marta’s world.

Caroline + Henry’s wedding is basically ONE WEEK AWAY!!! 🥹✨

Getting to capture their engagement session this summer at one of my forever favorite Milwaukee spots, Seven Bridges, was such a freaking good time. I’ve photographed here more times than I can count, but these two had me seeing it with fresh eyes — playing with new angles, lines, layers, frames, little hidden spots, and letting their explorer energy lead the way. 🌿🌊

That’s one of my favorite parts of photography: realizing there’s always a new way to tell a story, even in a place you know by heart. And Caroline + Henry made this one SO easy and fun. Nowwww… let the countdown begin!!! Can’t wait to celebrate these two in just a little over a week. 🥹🤍
