#8 Freshman Paxton Humphrey

This week’s AP Spotlight Player of the Week is Freshman, Paxton Humphrey!

Over the first half of the season Paxton has been a role player for the Panthers, playing wherever he was asked. Whether it was backup Quarterback, Wide Receiver, Cornerback, or the place holder on extra point. Paxton has fully embraced the “anywhere the team needs me” mentality.

On Friday, more was asked of him! Coach Wilson and Coach Arner decided to give him the nod at starting Quarterback. QB is a huge task for anyone, let alone a Freshman! But he did not allow the pressure to get to him! With help from his Offensive line, Wide Receivers, and Running backs, Paxton had a phenomenal game! Going 19/31 for 335 yds and 3 TDS and led Milton to a 51-0 win over Central Columbia!

This game was enough to earn Paxton a Mr. PA football nomination for Player of the week!! (Check that out and go vote for him)

Congrats Paxton! We cannot wait to see you tear up defenses the next 4 years!! 💪🏼

🖤📢BLACK PANTHER SPOTLIGHT | LUIS SANTOS 📢⛓️

#6 Junior Luis Santos

After being one of the most seen faces In the weight room this past offseason, we knew this would be a breakout year for Luis!

Going into his Junior Year, Luis has primarily been a defensive player. Missing time his freshman year due to injury, Luis bounced back starting all 10 games last year at CB.

Coach Wilson and Coach Arner envisioned something much bigger for Luis this year!! Pulling him over to the Offensive side of the ball! He is the Swiss Army knife of Milton’s offense! You can see him line up at RB, WR, FB, and even taking snaps at QB in a Wildcat package!!

Luis, finally had a breakout game this past week! Rushing 18 times for 167yds, catching 4 more for 58yds and a TD!! He also provided lock down coverage on Defense, giving up no receptions and broke up 2 passes!!!

The coaches look forward to seeing what else this rising Junior is capable of!!!

Come out and fill the stands as our Milton Panther Cubs take the field today at Milton High School’s Alumni Field!

🏈 Game starts at 1:00 PM!

Sportsman Raffle tickets will also be available at the concession stand, so make sure to grab yours while you’re there!

🐾📢BLACK PANTHER SPOTLIGHT | MICHAEL RUNKLE 🐾📢

#50 Junior C/LB Michael Runkle

Having big shoes to fill, taking over Center duties for graduating Senior Alex Krall, Michael has done a great job in his third year as an offensive starter!

That’s not all he does, He is now a starter on defense as well! Filling in a much needed role at Linebacker, Michael has been meeting Running backs in the A Gap week after week!

Two weeks ago Michael had a career high 10 tackles, only to break it this past week against Montoursville with 13!!

The coaches say they look forward to seeing Michael on both sides of the ball the next 2 years!! 💪💪

What started as a 6–1 game turned into a 7–6 battle in the fourth, but Milton locked in and kept the lead. Go Milton!!!

📢BLACK PANTHER SPOTLIGHT 📢🐾

#9 Junior Team Captain Brady O’Rourke

After coming off of an All State Season, Brady has continued to perfect his craft as an OLB/DE. His game this past week,against Danville, was his coming out party for the season! Brady racked up 11 tackles, with 4.5 tackles for loss!!

Brady has also been playing a pivotal role with in Milton’s offense as a FB/Y and on special teams as well!!

We look forward to seeing Brady
Terrorize offenses for 2 more years!!!

🐾📢BLACK PANTHER SPOTLIGHT | BRODY LOCKE

#1 Sophomore RB/S Brody Locke

This week’s player highlight is Sophomore RB/S Brody Locke.

Currently Milton’s Leading rusher and third on the team in tackles. Brody continues to shine week after week on both sides of the ball!!

Thats not all he does! Brody plays a huge role in Milton Special Teams as a returner and long snapper!

The Future is Bright for this young Sophomore. We are excited to watch him the next three years!

🐾 📢BLACK PANTHER SPOTLIGHT | KAMRYN WILSON #2 🏈

#2 Sophomore QB/ CB Kamryn Wilson.

After missing the majority of his freshman year due to injury, Kamryn has worked super hard in the offseason in becoming the offensive leader the Black Panthers needed!

Taking the reigns at QB, in his 2nd start against Hughesville, Kamryn led our team to victory throwing for 4 touchdowns!

The next few years are looking bright for this kid!!
