Hi frannnnns!

Hope everyone's having a great summer and soaking in the sunshine while they can! I just got back from 11 days out of office - a soul recharging disconnect to the woods - but dove straight into multiple sessions this week and a wedding this weekend, with the following weeks looking the same. It's exhausting, but in the best possible way!! I figured a little update on schedule availability was due, so here it is:

August - books closed
Sept/Oct - select weekday session openings
November - weekends open back up

Amidst all that, I'm also soaking up the best season of motherhood - summertime ☀️. So enjoy this one shot that means so very much to me, because it's so "us." I still have soooo many amazing photos from our trips to go through (even from the July trip) - I guess the saying "a carpenter's house is never finished" goes the same for photographers, our personal photos exist and live in an organized folder, to be edited and shared at some point... eventually hahah 🫠 - but this one my husband took means the world to me.

Navigating through the woods with my little lady and her big heart for adventure has been our vibe since her first mountain romp at 3 weeks old, wrapped to my chest in a little cloth carrier. She is the reason I started this business in the first place and my biggest reason for always pushing to evolve and grow. My greatest love ❤️

Soon to be party of 4, and I just love these guys! 🥹✨

I have had the pleasure of documenting all of life's milestones for Cait and Pat since they got engaged a few years back, and it is not lost on me what it means when someone stays with you for every milestone. That kind of trust and loyalty is special, and I feel genuinely excited every time I see their name pop up on my calendar!

We adventured around the fields of Sugar Hill, NH and ended for a second portion at a beautiful mountainous lake- but that one deserves it's own share 🤍

In the middle of all the busy madness that summer brings with this business, I had a little change of scenery last week photographing these long term fosters in hopes of finding their forever home!
When Toni from Friends For Life Dog Rescue asked me if I would take some time to try and get these deserving babies adopted, it was an obvious yes!

These sweet souls have been overlooked for far too long, and every one of them deserves a family to love on them. After meeting them all and spending a little time together, it's a mystery to me why they are still in foster care. If I could have taken them all home with me I would have!

For now, enjoy these shots and share this post in hopes that the eyes of one of their forever homes sees them right here.

What an absolutely incredible day celebrating Jessica and Mike on top of Long Mountain, surrounded by their closest people! & Now that they have had time to relish in the photos I am so excited to share!

I had been looking forward to this wedding for months, not just because of the epic adventure but because Jess and Mike have been so genuine and lovely to work with from the start. & The fact that they're some of the most laid back people ever was the icing on the cake! They care about what actually matters, being together, being submersed in nature, and celebrating their big love surrounded by their closest people.

We lucked out with a gorgeous day on the South Ledge summit of Long Mountain, followed by a beautiful reception at Mountain Social in Bethel. They even changed outfits for the hike down, which follows a gorgeous moss covered drop pool style river with so many amazing photo locations. That one deserves its own post!

I just feel so incredibly lucky to keep finding couples like this, ones who trust me with their biggest moments and make my job feel like the best job in the world!

Manisha and Rob ✨

When Manisha reached out asking if I would travel to the coast to photograph their engagement at the special place where they vacation every summer, AND the place Rob proposed to her, it was an absolute YES!

We spent the first portion bouncing around downtown Ogunquit, finding pretty light, and then ended the evening oceanside with a pastel painted sky!

Their love was so genuine and easy to photograph, and we had the best time! 🥹

Berry picking at Goss Berry Farm has become a yearly tradition and we love it there so much! It's a beautiful family owned and operated establishment that makes you feel welcome the second you get there. The raspberries were ripe and delicious and we will be back soon to get our blueberry quota! My little lady was such a big help this year, and making more memories there year after year is even sweeter 🥹

Busy season is here and in full swing, and I've been pretty quiet over here the last week because of it! So many sessions, meetings, and planning for 2027 clients. Social media always ends up taking the back burner and dropping to the bottom of the priority list, and it used to stress me out, but I've realized that's okay!

Summer is flying by and I have incredibly limited availability left (August books are closed), so I'll be making a booking update soon!

I hope everyone here is able to take a moment to step back and soak in the slowness of summer among all of the beautiful busy chaos that comes too! There are little glimmers everywhere ✨
