I shoot for the cover. But the cover is never really the point.

It’s the way I see.

An editorial eye is always searching for the image that holds the story — the composition, the unexpected perspective, the fleeting fall of light that gives a room its atmosphere.

The image that reveals not only how a space looks, but how it feels to be there.

When I photograph a designer’s work, I’m looking for the visual thread that makes the story distinctly theirs. Because the most compelling imagery should feel unmistakably yours — an expression of your point of view, your artistry, your voice.

Those are the images that linger. That invite people into your world. And ultimately, attract more of the work you want to be known for.

And every once in a while, the image I saw becomes the cover.

Thrilled to see this photograph for MFA Interior Design on the Fall cover of Cottages & Bungalows Magazine

Some experiences leave you with new ideas. The rare ones change the way you see your work—and the business you’re building.

They happen when you see your work with greater clarity.
When your decisions become more intentional.

When your voice becomes more distinct.
When you’re leading with quieter confidence.
When your direction becomes unmistakable.

That’s the heart of The Living Edit.

Three days to step away from the day-to-day, reconnect with your vision, and return with renewed clarity about where you’re going—and how you want to get there.

If you’ve been craving that kind of clarity, we’d love to welcome you this September. Link in bio

The Other Photo Edit ✷ a new workshop, live July 29

A photoshoot is one of the biggest investments you’ll make this year — but most designers walk into shoot day thinking about the project, not the bigger picture.

In this workshop, I’m breaking down how to approach every shoot like a creative director: how to sequence spaces, direct your photographer and stylist, and walk away with a library of images that works as hard for your brand as it does for your portfolio.

There are places that change the way you see things.

This fall, we’re bringing a small, curated group of interior designers to one of them. Three days in the Hudson Valley — designed around imagery, creativity, and the kind of conversation you don’t find anywhere else.

Stay close.
