🚨EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY🚨

I’ve made the personal decision that I will no longer be sharing identifiable images of children on my photography page, signed release or not. 🤍

The 7th Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that privately possessing AI-generated CSAM depicting “fictional” children can be constitutionally protected when it stays within the home.

This is a choice I feel is right for me and for the way I want to approach sharing my clients’ families online. This ruling made it easy enough to reach this decision.

The exception will be senior sessions, with permission, as most of my seniors are already 18 or very close to adulthood and are able to consent to having their images shared as well.

This does NOT mean I’m stepping away from family or newborn photography! I’ll still be photographing and sharing these sessions, just in a more intentional way. Sweet candids, details, little moments, photos from behind, and intentional crops or blurring when needed. 🫶🏻

The safety of children and my clients will always come before my business, even if it means that I don't get as many bookings.

With this said, if I have a previous session posted that you would now like removed, please message me! No hard feelings whatsoever.

This past week, I’ve gotten my favorite comment multiple times:

“That was so easy!”
“That was actually fun!”

And I can’t express how happy I get every time I hear that. 🥹

A photoshoot SHOULD be fun and comfortable. Your photographer should create an environment where you don’t feel like you have to be stiff or constantly wondering what to do.

I love when my clients leave feeling like we were just hanging out for an hour and happened to take some photos along the way.

Thank you guys for such a fun summer so far, and it’s not even over yet! 🤍 I hope all of my clients have felt as comfortable and relaxed as my recent ones have.
