My Name is Sarah Jean Paddock, I am originally from Germany, a USAF Retirees Wife and a Mother of 2 beautiful Girls. We have lived in Germany, Japan, South Florida, Idaho and have now retired to Pennsylvania! We live right on the NY border, so I am working in both states. I've been photographing my family for many many years, but officially started my business, Sarah Jean Photography in October of

2016. ( It started out as "Don't Blink Photography" but i quickly changed my mind. )

My passion is childrens, maternity and fine art portraiture, but I love any type of photography. There is just something magical about being able to freeze moments in time for someone!

Sometimes being a photographer means I get an image stuck in my head and absolutely can not leave it alone until it exists.

This time I was the model, my daughter Lilli was behind the camera, and then I got to do my favorite part, turning it all into my vision afterward. :)

Different kind of behind-the-scenes tonight!

When people think of a photographer “working,” they usually picture me out somewhere with a camera in my hand. But probably 80-90% of my job actually happens right here.... sitting at my computer editing, usually with snacks, drinks, and something playing in the background.

Tonight it’s Grey’s Anatomy. 😂 I finally caught up on all my other shows, and it’s been so long since I watched Grey’s from the beginning that it basically feels like a new show again.

Lots and lots of hours spent right here turning what comes out of the camera into the finished images you actually get to see. ❤️
