Dear English Valleys Community,
It is with a heavy heart that I write this letter to inform you of the passing of one of our students, Cody Garrett.
Cody was a lifelong student at English Valleys and a valued member of our school community. His presence touched the lives of classmates, teachers, staff, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Cody was a true pioneer for our community, teaching all of us the importance of inclusion and acceptance of every student.
Cody's love for English Valleys was evident in everything he did. He was a die-hard English Valleys Bears fan who took great pride in being part of our school and community. His enthusiasm, spirit, and smile will be deeply missed.
As we mourn this loss, we also celebrate the impact Cody had on our school and the lessons he taught us through his kindness, perseverance, and unwavering school pride. Our thoughts and prayers are with Cody's family, friends, classmates, and all who are grieving during this difficult time.
