One of the things I hear most often before a headshot session is, “I’m not very photogenic.”

The truth is, you don’t need to know how to pose or what expression to make.

That’s where I come in.

A big part of my job is helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera and guiding them toward expressions that look confident, approachable, and natural.

Sometimes the smallest adjustments make the biggest difference.

That’s what makes headshot photography so rewarding.

Kitchens are often one of the most important spaces in a listing, and they deserve more than a single wide-angle photograph.

I like to photograph the overall layout first, then work into the space to highlight the finishes, cabinetry and details that help tell the rest of the story.

Some homes are less about individual rooms and more about how the spaces connect.

This home was a great example. The vaulted family room immediately grabs your attention, but the views from the foyer, staircase and upper level help tell the bigger story of the space.

That’s something I’m always looking for when photographing a property; not simply documenting each room, but creating images that help potential buyers understand how the home actually feels and flows.

One headshot doesn’t have to do everything.

During Brian’s session, we created several looks so he has options depending on where the image is being used; approachable and relaxed, more formal and executive, and a branded look for representing the business.

That versatility is something that can be built into a headshot session whenever it makes sense.
