Our public lands are in danger.
A new Senate budget proposal—“One Big Beautiful Bill”—quietly includes the sale of 2–3 million acres of public lands across 11 western states, including California and Alaska. These are the places we photograph, hike, camp, paddle, and find peace. Places that feed the soul and inspire us to create.
The bill strips environmental protections, removes public input, and greenlights industrial development. It prioritizes short-term profit over long-term access, conservation, and community. Once we lose these lands, we don’t get them back.
These aren’t just scenic backdrops—they’re sacred spaces that fuel our creativity and ground our lives.

Hi, my name is [___], and I am a [your state] resident who strongly opposes any proposal to sell off public lands.
I urge Senator [___] to vote NO on any federal budget amendment that would force the sale of public land. These lands support our economy, our environment, and our way of life.
Please protect our public lands — and keep them in public hands.
Thank you.
