We are ALWAYS down for a good dance party. Honestly this is one of our favorite parts of the day because it is filled to the brim with so much joy. Everyone unleashing their best moves, smiles are endless, bodies moving and best of all, generations of family and friends all blended together making memories on one dance floor jiving to the same tune. It is wild and perfect in all the ways.

Moms, they’re the greatest. Capturing parents on their children’s wedding day is absolutely part of the creation for me. They are your number one fan and absolutely your biggest cheerleaders so I will be keeping close eyes on them at every moment that I can. When I get two moms together, sharing a moment of bliss at the same time, well that’s just camera magic unraveling in the greatest way possible.

Who out there didn’t know how valuable the captures of their mom and dad would be until after they got their album back? Or even years later when relooking at galleries? It just hits the sentiment button so much more as time goes on 🫶🏼

Hey, I’m Erin, the one behind Erin Rachael photography!

Fun fact time! Last year I working my last 9 hour wedding day just 4.5 weeks before I welcomed my daughter earth side while having placenta previa. The crazy part?? This wasn’t even my last gig! I had a large family surprise birthday party that I had a complete blast at just 6 days prior to welcoming my daughter. 👀✨

I like to think that nothing can stop me in this world and we have the power to accomplish any wild silly dreams we may dream up if we just believe we can. The big belly may look a little nuts to some people but it doesn’t stop me from bending, climbing or producing the work that I always love to create.

Anyone resonate with me here?! Or do you just think I’m a little crazy?

Regardless, that crazy fire inside me has been fired up yet again, let’s have some fun and create magic together ✨🌙📸

Reading a room, photographer edition:
Being behind the lens capturing your wedding day is never about delivering specific photos or an on demand process. It’s organic. It’s slow. It’s growing. And most importantly it ebbs and flows. It isn’t 100% snapping because in order to get the beautiful moments unfolding, I have to wait, watch and predict little blissful moments unwinding before the fully happy. It’s peaceful yet exhilarating. And it’s what makes capturing your biggest day yet so extraordinary for us.
