The little stole glances, the way they made one another laugh, and the stories they shared about their engagement made it nearly impossible to not see the love between these two. The best kind of people are the ones that come into your life and make you see the sun where you once saw clouds. The ones that believe in you so much you start believing in you too. The ones that love you simply for being you.

Listening to Mike and Rekha share what stood out most when they first met, it's no wonder their love for one another (and Gatsby) shines through every one of these photos. It's like any hurdles or heartaches they endured separately had uniquely prepared them for a life together and I cannot wait to see what comes next!

Hi! We're Sarah and Jesse Zinger, of Root+Ivy Photography. Based in the Western US, we love traveling, rock climbing, and spending time with loved ones. All of these things allow us to meet some incredible people and, if we're lucky, we get to capture some magical moments along the way 📷 . .
We've been photographing for over a decade and while the last few years have been especially tough on our world, we've found joy helping others savor the precious moments in the middle of it all. Elopements in particular pulled at our hearts as a way to help couples have a safe, memorable experience. Sharing love in a time heavy with unknowns ❤️ . .
So here we are! Awkwardly looking towards to future with the hope of traveling further than our front door. We have some fantastic plans with wonderful people for 2022! But much like our eloping couples, we're becoming comfortable with flexibility and just enjoying the ride. Stay tuned for more adventures to come! ✈️ . .
