There are so many new faces here lately, so I wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself!
I’m Karen Kay the girl behind the camera at Karen Kay Photography 📷
I’ve been a full-time photographer for over 5+ years now, but before this, I was working as a hospice nurse.When I became a mom, everything shifted for me. I wanted to be as present as possible for my babies, and that’s what led me to turn my passion for photography into my full-time career and it’s truly been the best decision.
I am a mom of two toddlers, have two golden doodles, and more chickens than I can count 🐔🤍 so life is definitely a little wild over here but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
As a mom myself, I get it. I know how hard it can be to get everyone ready, out the door, and hoping the kids are actually in the mood once you get there 😅 That’s why my sessions are always relaxed, natural, and focused on capturing real moments.
My style is warm, candid, and storytelling — the in-between moments, the giggles, the chaos, and all the love in between 🤍
I specialize in family portraits, maternity sessions, and small events, capturing all the moments you’ll want to hold onto forever. I’m located right next to all the beautiful beaches in Milford, which makes for the dreamiest backdrops for your sessions 🌊☀️
You might’ve even met my husband (aka my assistant 😉), Pete, at one of your sessions, he’s always there when we need an extra set of hands!! whether that’s holding your dog, getting the kids to laugh, or helping everything run smoothly!
