Listen, me, you, my camera, your campus, and your besties šŸŽ“šŸ¾

There’s just something about group sessions at the end of a chapter like this. The energy, the chaos, the friendships, it’s all part of it.

Let’s go to your favorite spots, pop some champagne, and let you be the main characters for a little while.

Based in Ann Arbor but always up for a travel to surrounding campuses.

If you’ve been thinking about doing something like this, now’s the time šŸ¤

Fancy seeing you here šŸ“ø

There are a lot of new faces here, and I’m in a new season- so this felt like a good time to say hello (with the help of these beautiful branding photos taken by some very talented friends- my village is full and thriving).

Emily Rose Imagery has grown into more than I ever imagined this past year. I’ve owned my business since 2015, but this year I stepped away from corporate work, went all in, and opened a studio in the heart of Downtown Milan.

In our historic space, we’ve hosted everything from family sessions and branding shoots to photography classes and local gatherings. Alongside that, ERI Creative has allowed me to work with businesses and entrepreneurs all over the area.

While my roots are deep in the Milan community, my second shooter (and very handsome husband) and I love to see where this work takes us- whether that’s across the state or across the country. We just love to be where life is happening.

If you know me, you know I have a very specific style. I lean into warmth, depth, and a bit of whimsy- images that feel bold, timeless, and a little old-world. I think about how your photos will live on your walls, and hopefully one day on your children’s and grandchildren’s walls too. And don’t worry- we’ll have our candid fun along the way.

The last 12 months have been full of building, risk, and a lot of learning. It’s been hard and scary and fun and hilarious all at once.

This year, I’m really looking forward to what new we create together šŸ¤

The studio has its own kind of mood ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„ and Brianna & Tyler leaned into it.

I’m a sucker for a moody, formal portrait—but I love the playful moments in between just as much. The key to portraits is connection, whether it’s in a look, a gesture, or through touch. Closeness is key.

Looking forward to a North Carolina wedding this summer with these two āœˆļø

Welcome to Shutter Club šŸ“øāœØ

Spent yesterday morning with some local industry trailblazers. I was surrounded not only by great talent, but beautiful collaborative energy with some of the kindest women I know.

We spent a couple hours at Studio Studio in Ann Arbor taking branding images for each other and overall just having a really great time.

Being able to connect with other women in the industry is priceless. I love that we operate in a space of mutual support instead of competition.

Can’t wait to share some of the portraits they captured of me, and what I captured for them šŸ¤

Before sweater weather is officially over, I had to get these on the feed. šŸ“ø

Sometimes you have a lively group that can’t sit still long—and the goal is to get in, get what you need, and get out.

The mission with the Northrops was simple: a portrait of each kid and a family photo that felt like them. We managed it all in a quick studio session, and honestly, the kids came together and delivered! They even let us grab a shot of mom and dad.

If you’ve been thinking about updating your family photos, this is your sign šŸ¤

Shawna & Chase didn’t overlook a single detail- and honestly convinced me that March weddings deserve more credit.

When you choose the right spaces to hold your day, a little chill in the air doesn’t stand a chance.

From the quiet moments getting ready to a ceremony filled with intention, the love surrounding these two was undeniable.

It’s always bittersweet when a day like this comes to an end… but I’m so grateful to relive it through these images.

Thank you for trusting me with it, my friends. I can’t wait to share more. šŸ¤

Let’s talk about last weekend ✨

I love the quiet little moments that happen in between the hustle of a wedding day. Shawna and Chase are every bit as lovely as they look.

Sneak peeks tomorrow. šŸ¤

Tomorrow is the big day šŸ’’

Can’t wait to spend the day tomorrow with this duo- I just know it’ll be magic. Time to charge batteries, clear memory cards, and grab our walking shoes. 🫔

We’ll see you on the other side! šŸ’

A small peek at something big in the works šŸ‘€

Saturday night we were in Saginaw partnering with Pixel-Vue Media for full event coverage + an on-site photobooth experience with instant deliverables.

While guests stepped in front of the camera, Sean and I snuck in for a frame of our own. ✨

Collaborations like this allow us to serve our clients in even more thoughtful ways- blending seamless coverage with experiences guests can take home that same night.

So much more to come. šŸ“ø
