Milo & Patches are available for adoption!

These two are special needs. They must be adopted into homes with no other cats. However they're great buddies and we would love to see them get adopted together. For this reason,their adoption fee has been waived if they go home together.

Milo and Patches came to us from another shelter with upper respiratory disease. Most cats can rid their sinuses of the infection and their immune system helps to fight off the viruses that may have lead to the infection.

However with Milo and Patches they had a heavy viral load and it has caused permanent changes to their sinus cavities. This ultimately lead to changes in their sinuses that no longer allow their bodies to rid themselves of the bacteria.

They do get l-lysine power in their wet food 2x a day. This does help promote this immune system and helps keep the symptoms at bay.

Milo and Patches are friendly, playful cats and they're beautiful. They're still very young too, with them at just over a year old.

Want to meet them? They're not in our regular cat room but they're in the office right by the adoption desk! We would love for you to come in and meet them.

Our Adoption & Education Center is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 5:00 pm, with extended hours on Wednesday until 6:00 pm, and closed on Sunday.
