It really should come as no surprise that I became a wedding photographer. I grew up in a house with a mom who obsessed over pictures and displayed 3 generations of wedding photos on both sides of the family in our home. I belong to a huge catholic family so along with a pretty bangin' dance floor filled with 80's rock, 90s country, and a healthy flow of hip hop; a hallmark of every wedding was THE family photo. The couple getting married + all 7 seven siblings + all of their spouses + all of their kids + my grandparents. THE photo would earn a new spot on my Grandma's shelf which still acts as a timeline of our family slowly growing larger. So when people tell me I'm so good with crowds during family photos, it really should come as no surprise. What's a wedding tradition you love? Comment below!

You can tell me there's a cuter couples' tattoo out there...but I'd call you a liar. This is your sign to make sure that your engagement photos represent you well. Matching tattoos, the cutest pups, and so many little touches make these photos feel like them.

I'm so thankful Hannah and Nathan were able to spend a sunset with me to grab these sweet photos ahead of their wedding. I cannot wait to celebrate with you two!

My Santa set this year, The Nice List, will be available on December 12th only - Santa's a BUSY guy this time of year after all, so he's only able to hang at the studio for a little while.

I’ve had these up my sleeve for a week or two and I’m excited to finally share: WWDD? What would Dolly Do?

In honor of the icon herself, I am offering mini sessions at my studio located in Batesville, IN October 5-7. 50% of profits will be donated to a good local cause. The set will be inspired by her coat of many colors and paired with neutrals.

I’ve always been inspired by Dolly. I had a story book about her coat of many colors that I loved and made my parents read to me frequently until I was able to read it myself.

Her music was amazing on its own, but I’ve always felt Dolly’s biggest accomplishment was her humanitarianism. In some small way, I’d like to honor her memory and provide the community with beautiful photos.
